Facing Depression (The Prophet Elijah)

1 Kings 19:9-18

There are times when all of us feel low.  There are times when we should be ready to face a life challenge with fervor, but we aren’t.  God encountered Elijah at just such a time.  Elijah had every reason to face the challenge in front of him with zeal, but he didn’t.  Elijah’s emotions overshadowed his knowledge of God.  God, in this moment did not punish Elijah, but ministered to him and put him back on task.  If God will minister to Elijah, he will minister to you.  Join me as we look at this Divine Encounter.
